Lasagna Soup

LASAGNA SOUP
(Based on a recipe from Melinda Gassman)

Brown in Soup Pot:

lb. ground beef
1 small onion
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp thyme
1 tsp Salt

Add:
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (28 oz.) can Italian diced tomatoes
crushed red pepper flakes
2 cans beef broth
2 cans chicken broth
4 cups of water

Bring to a boil and add:
1 lb box of pasta (bow ties)

Cook until pasta is done

mozzarella cheese
ricotta cheese
Parmesan cheese

Serve hot with a dollop of ricotta and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan.
